We start our tour on Avenida de la Liberdade and head towards the heart of the city. We will make two impressive stops: Lisbon Cathedral, the oldest church in the city, and the Mirador de Graça, which offers one of the best views of Lisbon and the Tagus River.
We will then pass the Monastery of S. Vicente, Alfama (the birthplace of Fado), the National Pantheon and Praça do Comércio, before heading towards Belém, one of the most monumental and historic areas of Lisbon. It was from Belém that many Portuguese explorers set out on their voyages of discovery, so we will take you on a journey through the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, not forgetting the famous traditional pastries: the "Pastéis de Belém".
On our way back to the city centre, we will pass by the Estrela Basilica, the Parliament and the districts of Bairro Alto and Chiado. Then, we will stop in the Baixa district, where we will enjoy a stroll through the beautiful squares of Lisbon (Rossio, Figueira and Restauradores). Here, we will stop to taste Ginja, a traditional liqueur, in a very old tavern in Rossio. Traditional delicacies will be tasted in local taverns or cafes in the city.
