Discover the natural beauty of Minca in the Sierra Nevada on a day trip combining hiking to Cascada Escondida, a homemade lunch, and traditional coffee and cocoa workshops
Venture into the mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to explore Minca, known as the ecological capital of the region. The journey begins with ground transportation from the designated meeting points into the highlands, followed by an ecological hike to a traditional artisanal coffee farm, where you will learn the entire coffee production process from planting, harvesting, and pulping to roasting, while savoring a freshly brewed cup.
The route continues on foot through the charming town of Minca and its lush planting areas, crossing the river to reach the spectacular Cascada Escondida, a scenic waterfall surrounded by forest where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and take photographs. Afterwards, you will hike along a mountain trail to Casa Jocolate to enjoy a homemade lunch with vegetarian and vegan options available and relax in the hammock area.
To complete the experience, you will take part in a hands-on cocoa workshop where you will taste six different chocolate presentations, enjoy a warm cocoa drink, try a chocolate mask, and craft your own artisanal chocolate bar before returning to Santa Marta accompanied by your bilingual coordinator.

● Please dress according to the weather conditions. Comfortable clothing and hiking shoes are recommended, as well as bringing a coat, raincoat, swimwear, towel, hat or cap, sunscreen, insect repellent, water for hydration, and a photo of your identification document on your mobile phone
● For safety reasons, climbing on rocks or entering unauthorized areas during the tour is not permitted
