This colorful park perched high on the hills was named after Count Eusebi Güell – and originally intended as a gated community for the city's well-to-do. It was opened to everyone when Gaudí passed away in 1926, and at that point the architect himself had called it home for the last 20 years.

From the Lesseps stop on line 3, it’s a 15-minute walk. Head towards the entrance on Passatge de Sant Josep de la Muntanya and take the escalator
* Bus: Take lines H6 or 32 to Travessera de Dalt; from there, it’s a 10-minute walk. Take lines 24 or 92 to Carretera Carmel–Park Güell
