You will discover the historic heart of Oxford through a walking tour guided by University alumni and academically trained guides, designed to go beyond the postcard view and show how one of the world’s most influential institutions truly works. As you walk through the golden-stone city center, you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the “dreaming spires” with a clear and well-contextualized perspective.
During the walk, you will encounter some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Radcliffe Camera, the Bodleian Library, the Sheldonian Theatre, and the Bridge of Sighs, while your guide explains the collegiate system and tutorial method that define Oxford.
