To receive your official tickets and exact departure time, it is mandatory to check in online or send an email to [email protected] no later than 72 hours before the tour with the subject "ALCATRAZ CONFIRMATION", including: booking number, lead passenger name, tour date, and number of people. Failure to confirm on time may result in service cancellation
● Alcatraz Schedule: The exact ferry time is automatically assigned and will be confirmed to you between 7 days and 72 hours before the tour. This schedule is fixed and cannot be modified; if you miss the ferry departure, the ticket will be lost without refund. Full flexibility in your itinerary for that day is requested
● Stay on the Island: Once on Alcatraz, you can stay as long as you wish. Return ferries to San Francisco depart approximately every 30 minutes
● Hop-On Hop-Off Pass Flexibility: The date selected when booking corresponds exclusively to the Alcatraz tour. The hop-on hop-off bus pass is flexible and can be used at any time (even the day before or the day after your island visit)
● Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Operation: Buses operate daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (except on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day), with frequencies of 30 to 60 minutes depending on the season and traffic. Boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis
● Requirements and Recommendations: A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory. It is highly recommended to book well in advance due to high demand and to bring a jacket, as the weather can be chilly both on the bus and the ferry
● Children under 2 years old participate free of charge
● An audio guide is available on board the hop-on hop-off bus in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese
