Your morning will begin by visiting Cortina d'Ampezzo, a cosmopolitan town. You will have time to wander through the picturesque streets, discovering charming shops and cafes. Then, your driver-escort will take a scenic road to a viewpoint from where you will enjoy the views of the majestic Tre Cime Di Lavaredo.
Mid-day, we will stop at several scenic viewpoints for photo opportunities. One of the stops will be at the shimmering Lake Misurina, surrounded by towering pine and larch trees. Take a leisurely stroll around the lake and admire the reflections of the Dolomite mountains on its calm waters, or in summer (mid-June to mid-September), optionally take the chairlift up to Col De Varda (not included, about €13 per person).
A pause will also be made at the picturesque Lake Auronzo for free time to explore the lakeside or relax at your own pace. Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to engage in various activities, such as easy walks on level terrain, or simply relaxing moments taking in the breathtaking views. Be sure to sample the local cuisine, including mouth-watering dishes like speck, local cheeses, and Canederli dumplings, and the classic Strudel cake for dessert.
Winter Program (November to March): The tour will feature Lake Braies and the Tirolean Alpine village of San Candido instead of Lake Misurina and Col De Varda.
Christmas Markets (December 19th to January 6th): A stop at the Cortina Christmas Market is included.
