Discover the historic vineyards of Gaillac on a small-group half-day wine tour from Toulouse, visiting local wineries and enjoying guided tastings in one of the oldest wine regions in southwest France.
Escape Toulouse for a half-day discovery of the historic Gaillac wine region, one of the oldest vineyards in France. Located about 50 km northeast of the city, Gaillac has produced wine for more than two thousand years along the fertile valley of the Tarn River.
During this small-group tour, travel through vineyard landscapes and charming countryside villages while learning about the region's winemaking traditions. The tour includes a visit and tasting at a first selected winery in Gaillac, where you'll taste red, white and rosé wines of the appellation, made from indigenous grape varieties that give these wines their distinctive character.
You'll then continue to a second winery in the Gaillac region for another guided visit and tasting, meeting the winemakers and learning more about the local terroir. Winery selection may vary depending on availability.
At the end of the tour, you'll return to the original departure point in Toulouse. Run in small groups, this experience offers a closer, more personalized way to enjoy Gaillac's wines, suited to both wine enthusiasts and beginners alike.
