Discover Suzhou on a day trip from Shanghai by high-speed train, exploring its UNESCO-listed classical gardens and historic canals.
The experience begins with a high-speed train ride from Shanghai to Suzhou Station to start an itinerary through the city. The morning features visits to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the city's largest classical garden, and the Suzhou Museum, designed by architect I.M. Pei.
The route continues at midday with a stroll along the historic canal-side Pingjiang Road, leaving free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, the itinerary includes a visit to one of its iconic UNESCO classical gardens.
The tour concludes along ancient Shantang Street, enjoying the views of lanterns reflecting on the canals at sunset before returning to Suzhou Station for the train back to Shanghai.
