You will visit The Beatles Story, the largest permanent exhibition dedicated to The Beatles, located at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock. Throughout the visit, you will travel back to the atmosphere of the 1960s to understand how the Fab Four went from their beginnings in the city to becoming a global musical phenomenon.
During this immersive experience, you will move through different spaces that recreate their story, from their childhoods and the cultural context of the time to the impact of their music. Along the way, you will find replicas of key places such as the Casbah, Mathew Street, Abbey Road Studios, and The Cavern, all integrated into a narrative that will allow you to follow the evolution of the band in a clear and progressive way.
The exhibition also brings together an outstanding collection of original objects, among which you will see pieces associated with John Lennon, such as his glasses and his New York piano, as well as Ringo Starr’s drum kit and unusual photographic material. These elements will help you connect with the more personal side of the band and the mark they left on popular culture.
At the end of the visit, you may stop by the Discovery Zone, especially designed for families, where children can choose songs and take part in a Cavern-inspired karaoke stage, as well as explore a giant piano, a 1960s NEMS record shop, and works of art. To finish, you will have the option to relax at the Fab4 Café and visit the Fab4 Store while using the multimedia guides available in 12 languages, with interviews, images, and information narrated by Julia Baird, John Lennon’s sister.
