Embark on a journey through 5,000 years of Peruvian history. Our experience begins at the Larco Museum, a stunning private collection housed in an 18th-century vice-regal mansion, world-renowned for its exquisite pre-Columbian art and its famous erotic gallery. On our way to the Historic Center, we will observe Huaca Mateo Salado, an imposing archaeological complex standing in the heart of the modern city.
Once in the historic heart of Lima, we will enjoy a guided walk to admire the city's most iconic architecture and monuments. To sweeten the day, we’ll indulge in a tasting of a traditional limeño dessert, a local favorite for generations. We will also visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, one of the best-preserved colonial sites, where you can climb the tower for a breathtaking view of the city. Finally, we’ll aim to catch the Changing of the Guard at the Government Palace (subject to official scheduling).
