Full description The tour explores Ushuaia’s main landscapes by land and sea, from the National Park to the Beagle Channel, with wildlife sightings and panoramic views Starting from the hotel in the city of Ushuaia, heading southwest, we will travel along National Route 3, towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. On the way to the park we will see the Equestrian Center, where we will have excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, the Ushuaia Peninsula, the Murray Channel and the Bridges and Les Eclaireurs archipelagos.

After crossing the bridge over the Pipo River, next to the Ushuaia Golf Club, we will arrive at the End of the World Train station. Those visitors who wish may board the train -tickets are at the passenger's expense-. We continue the journey with the vehicle 2 kms more and we will enter the National Park, an area reserved for the protection of the Subantarctic Forest, native flora and fauna and at the crossing to Ensenada Zaratiegui we will wait for the arrival of the train.

Along the road surrounded by forests of lengas, ñires, guindos and peat bogs, we will arrive at Lake Acigami (ex Roca), a lake of glacial origin, framed by mountains and forests, where it is possible to see specimens of autochthonous birds.

The last part of the excursion takes us to Lapataia Bay, after crossing the cormorant archipelago, peat bogs, forest and environments transformed by beavers. There we will have time to walk along the footbridges, which were built to protect the soil and the archaeological remains of the first inhabitants of the area more than 6000 years ago. From this place, the end of National Route 3, we will start our return to the city.

In the afternoon, we set sail from the local tourist pier, cruising across the expansive Ushuaia Bay. As we sailed away, we enjoyed panoramic views of the Ushuaia coastline, spotting important buildings such as the Maritime Museum (a former prison), the End of the World Museum, the industrial area, and Mount Olivia and the Five Brothers Mountains.

We sailed southwest, approaching Sea Lion Island, where, from the boat, we could observe sea lions in their natural habitat in a stunning setting.

Continuing our journey, we headed towards Bird Island, home to Magellanic and Imperial Cormorants, and a prime location for observing marine birds.

We continue towards the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name, where the ship Monte Cervantes sank in 1930.

The return journey will be through Paso Chico, passing the Túnel and Fique ranches, before returning to Ushuaia, with a view of the imposing backdrop of Mount Martial and its glacier Additional information National Park Excursion (5.5 hours): Please provide full accommodation details when booking.
