The province of Cádiz is one of the most fascinating in Andalusia, full of contrasts between tradition, art, and stunning landscapes. On this full-day excursion from Seville, we will discover two of its greatest treasures: Jerez de la Frontera, cradle of sherry wine and the Andalusian horse, and Cádiz, the oldest city in Europe, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.
Our journey begins by crossing the fertile plains of the Guadalquivir Valley until we reach Jerez de la Frontera, renowned for its winemaking tradition. We will visit one of its prestigious sherry wine cellars, where you will learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of several local varieties.
Next, we will experience the magic of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, where we will attend its world-famous equestrian show — an authentic ballet of horses recognized internationally, combining the grace of the Andalusian horse, Spanish music, and traditional 18th-century costumes.
After this breathtaking performance, we will head to the Costa de la Luz to visit the enchanting city of Cádiz. Accompanied by our local guide, we will stroll through its historic center, admiring iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral of Cádiz, San Juan de Dios Square, and the charming La Viña neighborhood.
You will have free time for lunch at one of the traditional bars or restaurants, where you can enjoy Cádiz’s delicious cuisine with fresh fish and seafood and excellent Andalusian wines.
After lunch, you can continue exploring on your own or relax by the sea before returning to Seville.
A full day of culture, flavor, and Andalusian tradition combining the best of Jerez and Cádiz: wine, horses, and the sea.
