In this Experience we will get to know the cities of Llanquihue and Frutillar, admiring their beautiful old houses of German architecture and their beautiful gardens and enjoying fantastic views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes.
We will start our tour from your hotel in Puerto Varas to visit Llanquihue and Frutillar, beautiful cities in southern Chile that stand out for their architecture and German influence as well as for their wonderful landscapes.
We will start in Llanquihue, a place famous for its cured meats and for being part of the old Los Colonos Route, and there we will visit the Monument to the German Colonists. We will then go to Frutillar, a beautiful city reminiscent of Bavaria, where its first inhabitants come from, and we will walk around its beautiful old German-style houses. We will go to the waterfront where we will be able to observe the Teatro del Lago, a place where the famous "Frutillar Musical Weeks" are held annually; the architectural design of the theater façade emulates the sheds with tile cladding typical of the architecture of the area built by the German immigrants of the region.
Finally, we will return to the hotel in Puerto Varas.
