Discover a food and wine experience near Lake Garda, with a winery tour and a tasting of four Bardolino wines paired with local charcuterie and cheese.
Just a stone's throw from Lake Garda, this food and wine experience invites you to discover the fascinating history of a winery and the secrets behind its wine-making techniques, among the most renowned in the world for the quality of their grapes. Along the way, you'll discover why the Bardolino area is famous for using ceramic barrels for aging, as well as the characteristics of the local grapes, whose carefully studied blends give the wines their unmistakable flavour.
The experience begins with a tour of the winery, learning about all the processes involved in production, from harvesting to bottling. This is followed by a tasting of four important labels, two reds and two whites, guided by an expert who explains the characteristics of each in detail: the Dritto, a classic Bardolino made from local grapes, and the Calis, a red wine derived from the French Cabernet variety; and among the whites, the Biso, with its citrus notes, and the Glacies, made from French Pinot Blanc with a mineral profile.
The tasting is paired with a board of zero-mile local products, including bread drizzled with extra virgin olive oil produced by the winery itself, along with cold cuts and cheeses from small local producers.
