You will take part in a Spanish-language excursion that combines two essential places for understanding Vietnam’s recent history: the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels. Throughout the day, you will travel by private car and be accompanied by guides who will help you interpret the events, the spaces, and the historical context of the Vietnam War.
The experience will begin with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, where you will spend ample time exploring its galleries and gaining a deeper understanding of one of the most widely reported and harshest conflicts of the 20th century. As you move through the exhibitions, you will come to understand how this episode marked the country and what traces it left on the collective memory.
Afterwards, you will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you will enjoy a typical Vietnamese dish before continuing the route. This moment will serve to rest and prepare for the next part of the tour, which will take you to the outskirts of the city.
Next, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, accompanied by your Spanish-speaking guide and a specialist guide from the area, who will explain the strategies, traps, and resources that made this underground system a key element during the war. You will have the possibility of entering some of the tunnels to experience their real dimensions and understand their role in historical operations such as the Tet Offensive. At the end, you will return to Ho Chi Minh City by private car, bearing in mind that the optional activity of firing historical weapons, such as an AK-47, will not be included in the price.
