High Mountain Tour with Pick Up

● Please provide full details of your accommodation at the time of booking. It is very important in this case to note that it is the passenger's obligation and sole responsibility to contact the local contact number one day before the service to confirm the exact pick-up point and time
● Be at the pick-up point 15 minutes before the tour starts
● The average hotel tour takes 30 - 45 minutes
● The passenger will receive a message from 7.30pm on the day before the tour to reconfirm your meeting point, a more approximate pick-up time. The message will be sent to the phone number you have entered in your booking
● We have meeting points on Route 40 for passengers staying in the areas of Maipú and Lujan de Cuyo (please check with I Need Tours Reservations Department)
● Aconcagua Provincial Park: operates from 1 November to 30 April each year
● Entrance fee for trekking to Lagunas de los Horcones in Aconcagua Provincial Park: only cash payment in Argentinean pesos in authorized payment centres with a reservation that must be made in advance. Information about the procedure will be sent the day before by the supplier. Once the payment has been made by the client, this payment is non-refundable
● If the passenger does not wish to do the walk, he/she can enjoy the panoramic viewpoint, visit the interpretation centre or wait in the unit. The duration of the activity is estimated at one hour. The rest of the year we only stop for a view of the mountain from the Panoramic Point
● Cristo Redentor: the ascent is subject to weather conditions and the state of the road. It is usually possible to climb from January to March
● There are stops where you will be able to buy food and drink, paying in cash as the internet does not always work in Alta Montaña
● We suggest you wear comfortable clothes and footwear (long trousers and closed shoes if possible), a warm coat (thick jacket), cash for breakfast and lunch (not included). In winter we suggest to bring gloves, hat, another pair of socks and shoes
● It is recommended that you hydrate yourself 24 hours before the walk and carry water to keep you hydrated throughout the walk. There are stops where you can buy water
● Passengers must carry identification documents and minors must be accompanied by at least one adult
● Please note that there are toilet stops along the route. The vehicle does not have a toilet
● This tour goes through the international route that connects Mendoza with Santiago de Chile, which has a lot of traffic and due to its condition of mountain route is subject to delays due to unforeseen events or weather conditions, so it is suggested to consider the duration of the tour as approximate and sleep in the city of Mendoza on the day of the tour
● In case the itinerary is interrupted by the authorities or physical situation, it will correspond: a) if up to 50% of the tour is completed, the provider will consider it as completed; b) if less than 50% of the service is completed, the provider will offer another tour as compensation
● Health: people with heart problems and women in pregnancy or any other pathology should consult their doctor. The average altitude is between 3000 and 4200 m above sea level, depending on the time of year
● It is not a monolingual tour, you will share the tour with other languages (Spanish and English)
