The tour begins at the majestic Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, a fortress steeped in history that has witnessed the most important events over more than two millennia. This monument reflects the power of the different kingdoms and civilisations that inhabited the Iberian Peninsula. Its walls hide fascinating stories that will help you understand Cordoba's influence on the history of Spain, while you enjoy its gardens and towers overlooking the city.
Next, you'll enter the charming Jewish Quarter, one of the city's most emblematic neighbourhoods. Its narrow streets evoke medieval Cordoba, where you can visit the Synagogue, one of the few remaining synagogues in Spain. You will also see the Chapel of San Bartolomé, an example of the Gothic-Mudejar style. The tour of this neighbourhood includes a visit to the traditional souk, where local handicrafts are on display, and the statue of Maimonides, a tribute to the famous philosopher and doctor born in this city.
The tour culminates with a visit to the Mosque-Cathedral, Cordoba's most famous and emblematic monument, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
