During this two-hour tour, we will take a journey through one of the lesser known, but no less interesting episodes of Alsatian history, the period between 1871 and 1919.
From the imposing Kaiserplatz, we will visit a part of the Neustadt (new town). We will read the façade of the great Rhine Palace, where the symbols of German power are still clearly visible. The other buildings of the square will take us back to the Berlin of before the Second World War. We will pass by the University Palace, with its marvelous neo-Renaissance architecture and its wonderful back gardens. Other treasures, such as the Art Nouveau Egyptian House with its wonderful historicist-inspired fresco, won't be missed.
