Walk through time along Madrid must-see highlights and discover a museum that no travelers should miss

This itinerary begins at Plaza de Oriente, the site of the famous Royal Theatre. From its external, our guide will explain the history of this ancient Theatre and will walk to the main attraction of this area of the city, the Royal Palace. Once in Plaza Mayor, the city’s most famous icon, we will enjoy all the many stories from this spectacular square. From there we will walk along Calle de la Sal, until we arrive at Calle de Mayor and have a break at the famous San Gines Chocolate Shop if you want. Our last stop is in the heart of the City: Puerta del Sol. It is one of the nerve centres of Madrid and can not be missed during your stay in Madrid. It features several attractions, such as the Bear and the Strawberry Tree statue, next to Alcalá Street, and the equestrian statue of Charles III standing nine metres tall.
From Puerta del Sol we walk to reach the Thyssen-Bornmisza Museum. It is a very pleasant stroll and the guide will start making an introduction to this very fascinating place.
