You will take part in a guided food and wine pairing dinner near the Pantheon, an experience designed to introduce you to high-quality regional products accompanied by a selection of Italian wines. The meeting point will be at Piazza della Minerva, from where you will walk with a local expert to a family-run restaurant located in a Renaissance building.
Dinner will take place at Casa Bleve, an establishment located inside Palazzo Lante, a 15th-century building in the Sant’Eustachio neighborhood, near the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The restaurant preserves historic elements linked to different periods of Rome and features a wine cellar built over ancient Roman structures.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the owners and restaurant staff, who will share the history of the establishment and their family. During the experience, you will meet Tina, who is in charge of the kitchen, and her son Alessandro, discovering a proposal that combines family tradition, Italian gastronomy, and an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
Throughout the dinner, food experts and sommeliers will introduce you to the art of pairing food and wine. You will taste four wines accompanied by different specialties while learning to recognize aromas, flavors, and combinations, as well as discovering aspects related to the history and winemaking tradition of Italy.
