Begin your Santorini tour with a visit to the historic Prophet Elias Monastery and the charming village of Pyrgos, renowned for its picturesque beauty and traditional architecture. This enchanting village offers a glimpse into the island's rich cultural heritage and stunning views.
Next, explore the renowned Akrotiri Excavations, one of the most significant prehistoric sites in the Aegean. Akrotiri was a major city and port, spanning 20 acres with an advanced social structure, public roads, and multi-story buildings. The ongoing excavations have revealed only a portion of this ancient settlement, but visitors can walk through the well-preserved ruins and appreciate its historical significance.
Enjoy some free time (approximately 40 minutes) at Red Beach or visit Akrotiri Bay for coffee or lunch (not included in the tour price). Then, proceed to Fira Town, where you can capture stunning photos of the Caldera, shop for unique souvenirs, or savor traditional Santorinian cuisine.
