This full-day trip leaves Kiruna for the landscapes of Abisko, Björkliden and Låktatjåkka in Swedish Lapland, known for their crystal-clear waters and striking rock formations. It is a route off the busiest tracks to experience the Arctic wilderness up close.
After pickup in Kiruna and a scenic drive, the first stop is Bessejohka, where you walk down to the shore of Lake Torneträsk. You then continue to Abisko National Park for a walk along the Abisko Canyon, where the water has carved deep into the limestone rock. The next stop is Silverfallet, the "Silver Waterfall": a picturesque descent brings you close to the cascades that flow into Torneträsk.
A full lunch is served at the Björkliden hotel restaurant, with panoramic mountain views. Afterwards, the route reaches Låktatjåkka for a final hike up to the waterfall of the same name. There you pause to try traditional local snacks and enjoy hot drinks in the wilderness before returning to Kiruna.
Throughout the day, the guide takes photos with a professional camera, which are shared with the group afterwards. A trip that combines driving and accessible walks, ideal for discovering the region's most striking landscapes in a small group.
