The art of fresh pasta making starts at home, on the kitchen table. Cooking in the home of a real local Sfoglina is a way to get close to genuine Bolognese tradition. The Sfogline are traditionally the women who used to roll out the dough with a rolling pin to cook dishes for their families.
In this Bolognese cooking class, you will learn how to make real sfoglia, the fresh egg pasta typical of Bologna, and try your hand at dishes such as the iconic Bolognese sauce for your tagliatelle. You will discover the secrets of regional cuisine and local recipes alongside your host.
After the class, you can enjoy lunch or dinner tasting the results of your own work, paired with local wines, directly at the Sfoglina's home. A staff member will welcome you at the meeting point and accompany you to the house, in the center of Bologna.
As this is a private tour, the experience is held exclusively for your group.
