Full description Enjoying an authentic cooking class in Venice is a unique opportunity to dive into the traditional Italian culinary heritage guided by local experts. In this gastronomic experience, participants will learn how to prepare three iconic Italian dishes, led by one of Nico’s family chefs, who inherited a deep passion for cooking from his childhood in this very city. The session ends with a shared meal, where everyone can taste the dishes prepared during the class in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

This hands-on cooking class offers a full immersion into the culinary culture of the Veneto and Lombardy regions. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with an aperitif that includes snacks and a drink, setting the tone for an experience full of flavors and aromas. One bottle of wine is shared for every three guests, encouraging interaction and conviviality throughout the session.

One of the highlights is the fresh pasta workshop, based on a traditional lombardo-veneto recipe. Guests will learn how to create two types of pasta: filled ravioli and a second shape, such as spaghetti or tagliatelle. Seasonal sauces, made with fresh and local ingredients, will be provided to enhance each dish and reflect the diversity of Italian cuisine.

The experience also includes an olive oil tasting, accompanied by freshly baked homemade focaccia. This moment is perfect for refining the palate and connecting with the essential flavors of the Mediterranean, while appreciating the quality of traditional products.

As a sweet finale, the class includes the preparation of the original tiramisù. Guests will discover the secrets of this classic dessert and take part in its creation, ending with a treat that is a true symbol of Italian pastry. The class also includes mineral water, espresso coffee, and a shot of homemade limoncello, giving the experience a final authentic touch.

The location itself is as special as the experience: a large and bright top-floor apartment in Palazzo Loredan, a 16th-century historic residence once owned by a noble Venetian family. The chef’s family has lived here throughout the 21st century, and it is also where he grew up, giving this space a deeply personal and warm character.

The host chef learned the art of cooking from his mother, an excellent cook from the island of Burano. His culinary style blends the flavors of tradition with a contemporary twist, bringing freshness and creativity to every dish. This combination is reflected in his teaching, attention to detail, and passion for Italian cuisine.

Beyond flavors and techniques, this gastronomic experience in Venice aims to connect people through food and beverages. It is an invitation to discover a genuine, living Venice, far from mass tourism.
