Excursion to Lake Humantay with Pickup in Small Group

Take one of the most spectacular hiking excursions through the Andes towards the Humantay Lagoon (4,180 masl). This journey invites you into an impressive landscape filled with rich culture and vast history. The tour starts early from Cusco, driving to Soraypampa (3,900 masl), a stunning natural location where the hike begins. Along the way, you can appreciate varied fauna, such as the Andean condor, while observing the imposing Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped peaks. After a two-hour ascent, you will reach the natural wonder of its turquoise waters, perfect for exploration and photography. Following the visit, you will descend back to Soraypampa for a local lunch before your final transfer back to Cusco.

● Please arrive at the pickup point 15 minutes before the tour departure time
● Transfers exclusively include hotels in the historic center of Cusco
● This activity is not wheelchair or stroller accessible
● The minimum age allowed is 12 years old and minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times
● In the rainy months (December to March) we may make last-minute cancellations due to adverse natural conditions. Cancellations for this reason are free of charge, and we will formally notify you the day before
● This activity is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart, back, and/or mobility problems
● Clothing Recommendation: high mountain shoes and clothing, windbreaker, hat, gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera
● This activity requires good acclimatization (at least full 48 hours in Cusco downtown altitude)
● If you have any physical or nutritional condition, please inform us at the time of booking
● It is not possible to use horses on the new initial section of the trail — it must be done entirely on foot
● It is highly recommended to use trekking poles. These can be rented in the city, or our guides can assist with the rental
● Passengers must be in excellent physical condition. The route is more demanding and challenging
● After booking, it is mandatory to send your hotel name and address for pickup to [email protected]. For tax purposes, it is also important to send copies of your passports
