This day trip from Marrakech explores southern Morocco as far as Ouarzazate and the Aït Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The day begins with pickup from your hotel or riad and a drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, with scenic stops to enjoy the landscapes and take photos.
At Aït Ben Haddou you visit the ancient fortified earthen village, an example of traditional Berber architecture, with its streets, walls and houses. From the top you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley and the mountains. You then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara and the Hollywood of Morocco for its film studios and movie sets.
The trip is offered in two options: shared, where you travel with other passengers and can hire a local guide on site for the visit to Aït Ben Haddou, or private, which includes a local guide. At the end of the day, you return to Marrakech with drop-off at your hotel. An ideal experience to discover southern Morocco in a single day.

Pickup is at your hotel or riad in Marrakech, at approximately 7:20 am. If you are staying in the New Town area, pickup is at the hotel. If you are staying in the Medina, pickup will be at the nearest point accessible by minivan from your riad.
