● The tour is conducted in English only.
● Vatican tickets are nominative and non-transferable. The first and last name must match exactly the document presented on the day of the visit (ID card or passport). In case of discrepancy, access may be denied by the monument and the reservation cancelled without the right to a refund.
● All passengers must present valid documentation on the day of the tour.
● It is mandatory to correctly complete the details of all passengers: full first name(s) and last name(s), date of birth and nationality. The details entered in the reservation cannot be edited, name changes or data changes are not permitted once the reservation has been closed; it must be cancelled and a new place booked subject to availability.
● The date of birth is required to correctly identify the categories of adults, children and infants. Nationality is required especially for special rates for European Union citizens between 18 and 25 years old, when applicable.
● All passengers, including children and infants (even if travelling free of charge), must be included in the reservation and present valid documentation on the day of the visit. Children must always enter accompanied by at least one adult.
● Access to the Vatican Museums for groups with a reservation is through a dedicated line. However, waiting times may vary depending on the season and security checks with metal detectors.
● The route inside the Vatican Museums may be modified according to the museum’s internal regulations. Likewise, St. Peter’s Basilica may close partially or completely without prior notice due to ceremonies, extraordinary religious events or decisions by the Vatican.
● For security reasons, it is forbidden to enter with weapons, knives, scissors, blunt objects, alcoholic beverages, glass bottles or cans, laser pointers, large umbrellas, drones and selfie sticks. Backpacks or bulky bags larger than 40×35×15 cm are also not allowed.
● As this is a place of worship, appropriate dress is mandatory: shoulders and knees must remain covered during the visit. If necessary, disposable ponchos are available for purchase at the entrance for only €1.
● Please note that the itinerary inside the Vatican Museums may vary, depending on the restrictions decided by the museum board.
● The guided visit will end in the impressive Sistine Chapel. The guide will provide directions on how to reach St. Peter’s Square, without accompanying you inside the Basilica.
● The tour operates rain or shine and has guaranteed departures, with no minimum number of customers required.
● Children/teenagers under 18 years old must always be accompanied by an adult.
● For security reasons and museum regulations, pets are not allowed.
● Guests with wheelchair accessibility needs will have difficulty with this group tour. To ensure a barrier-free tour with alternative routes, the private version is recommended.
