Short on time but big on curiosity? This 1.5-hour walking tour is your express pass to Ancient Rome, without waiting in queues, walking the same route once trodden by gladiators to discover the drama, architecture and daily life of the Roman Empire, all from outside its most legendary landmarks.
The tour begins just outside the Colosseum, where your guide brings its epic past to life, from bloody battles to groundbreaking Roman engineering. It continues through the Forum of Augustus, where politics met propaganda, and on to Trajan's Column, once the empire's grandest shopping and storytelling space. ● Please arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes before the tour's departure time
● Your guide will be waiting at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, located just above the Colosseo Metro station, holding a yellow flag or sign. If you are near the Colosseum, enter the metro station and take the stairs inside to go up to the meeting point
● The tour is provided in a small group of up to 15 people
● Visits to all sites are external, we only view them from the outside
● Please wear comfortable walking shoes and a waterproof jacket (if rain is forecast). We also suggest bringing a reusable water bottle to refill at the fountains along the way
● While the weather in Rome is usually sunny, if it rains, the tour will still go ahead, rain or shine!
● This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to operate. If the minimum is not reached, refunds or alternative dates will be offered
