You will discover the street food of Ho Chi Minh City in a Spanish-language guided gastronomic experience designed to introduce you to Vietnamese culture through its most popular flavors. Throughout the tour, you will travel through different parts of the city by car or motorbike, stopping at traditional stalls and local eateries where dishes that form part of the residents’ daily life are prepared.
The experience will begin with pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the first gastronomic stops. As you move around the city, you will alternate tastings with explanations from the guide, who will help you understand the ingredients, preparation methods, and local context of each dish in a dynamic and approachable atmosphere.
During the tour, you will try a selection of typical specialties such as bánh tráng nướng, known as “Vietnamese pizza”; bò lá lốt, marinated beef wrapped in betel leaves and grilled; and bò né, served in a hot pan with meat, egg, pâté, and baguette. The route will continue with options that broaden the variety of flavors, such as chuối nướng, a banana dessert with sticky rice and coconut milk; súp cua óc heo, a rich soup with crab and other traditional ingredients; and bánh canh, a thick noodle soup served in a flavorful broth with typical accompaniments.
At the end of the tasting of the different dishes, you will return to your hotel with a more complete understanding of HCMC’s gastronomy, having experienced the city through its streets, its aromas, and its most representative recipes.
