You will begin your excursion at the port of Sorrento, where you will board the boat to sail toward Capri, one of the most emblematic islands in the Gulf of Naples. Throughout the tour, you will enjoy the coastline from the sea and get closer to some of the island’s most renowned natural landscapes, among sea caves, hidden coves, rock formations, and waters of intense blue tones.
During the navigation, you will be able to admire the Green Grotto, a sea cave known for the greenish reflections projected onto its walls and ceiling, creating a very distinctive luminous effect. You will also discover the White Grotto, named after the limestone deposits that cover its walls and the white stalactites that decorate its entrance, adding a special contrast with the color of the sea.
The route will continue alongside the famous Faraglioni, three rock formations that emerge from the sea and have become one of Capri’s most recognizable symbols. Further on, you will be able to contemplate the Natural Arch, a huge rocky mass suspended over the turquoise sea, shaped by nature into an arch of great beauty. In this area you will also find the entrance to the Grotto of Matromania, a natural cave that was transformed into a luxurious nymphaeum in Roman times.
As the navigation continues, you will also be able to observe the Punta Carena Lighthouse, located on the cape of the same name, a few kilometers from Anacapri. Active since 1867, this lighthouse forms part of the island’s coastal landscape and has guided generations of sailors traveling through this area of the Mediterranean.
At the end of the boat tour, the captain will disembark you at the port of Capri, where you will have approximately 5 and a half hours of free time to explore the island at your own pace. During this time, you can visit La Piazzetta, considered the center of local life, stroll through its narrow streets, and discover artisan sandal shops, boutiques, and charming corners, closing the experience with a combination of navigation, nature, and Mediterranean atmosphere.
