Experience one of the most popular excursions in recent years, the visit to the Caminito del Rey from Seville. This spectacular path was built by the Sociedad Hidroeléctrica del Chorro to connect the Salto del Gaitanejo and the Salto del Chorro, facilitating the access of operators, transport of materials and its surveillance.
The Caminito del Rey trekking is an exciting adventure that will take you back in time. With a length of 3 kilometres and stretches of barely 1 metre wide, it runs through the impressive Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, hanging 100 metres above the Guadalhorce river.
The trail begins in Ardales, crosses Antequera (Malaga province) and ends in El Chorro (Álora). Its name dates back to 1921, when King Alfonso XIII crossed it after the inauguration of the Conde de Guadalhorce dam. After years of deterioration, rehabilitation work began in 2014 to open a safe 7-kilometre route to the public.
The route runs between the Guadalhorce-Guadalteba reservoir and El Chorro, offering breathtaking views of the Gaitanes and Gaitanejo gorges. After the exciting hike, you will enjoy the delicious typical gastronomy of the Sierra de Málaga in a local restaurant or you can opt for some free time for your own lunch or picnic.

● In winter, it is necessary to wear Warm clothes or a raincoat in case it rains
● Bring a bottle of water to hydrate during the journey
● The use of clubs is not allowed of selfie or tripods, nor the entrance with crutches / canes and animals
● Smoking is not allowed throughout the tour
● A minimum of 2 people is required for the tour. In the event that this minimum is not met, clients will be offered an alternative date, another tour of equal or greater value, or a full refund
