This full-day excursion explores the heart of Malta, where history and culture meet among stunning landscapes. We begin in the island’s central region, dominated by the ancient citadel of Mdina, Malta’s former capital and a city rich in legend. Stroll through its narrow, silent streets and mysterious alleyways, leading to the imposing bastions that offer breathtaking 360° views of the island.
Leaving Mdina through the Greek Gate, we continue to the early Christian catacombs, an evocative site that offers a glimpse into Malta’s ancient past. The journey then takes us to the spectacular Dingli Cliffs, the island’s highest point, where panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the small island of Filfla await.
After a relaxing lunch stop, we visit the San Anton Botanical Gardens, home to some of Malta’s rarest plant species and the official residence of the President of the Republic.
Our next destination is Mosta, famous for its impressive Rotunda dome, one of the largest unsupported domes in Europe, admired for both its scale and architectural beauty.
The final stop of the tour is at the Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, where traditional artisans demonstrate glassblowing, pottery, and filigree techniques. This is also the perfect opportunity to shop for authentic Maltese souvenirs and handicrafts.

● The tour will be guided in the language that you have booked; however, please note that occasionally, due to operational circumstances, a multilingual guide (limited to a maximum of two languages) might provide the commentary in two languages
● The tour in Spanish will be conducted by either a Spanish-speaking guide (subject to availability) or an English-speaking guide together with a Spanish-speaking host serving as a translator
● The provider reserves the right to change the order of the visits without prior notice
● No dress code is required unless entering churches; comfortable seasonal clothing is recommended. To enter churches, shoulders and up to the knees must be covered. Kindly wear comfortable footwear and avoid flipflops
