You will take a day trip to Yokohama, a port city located near Tokyo that combines modern architecture, a coastal atmosphere, cultural spaces, and neighborhoods full of identity. The experience will begin at the passengers’ hotel in Tokyo, from where you will travel with the guide by train to Yokohama to start the tour.
The visit will begin in Minato Mirai, one of the city’s most modern and representative areas. There, you will be able to admire the Landmark Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the country, and enjoy the surroundings of Yokohama Bay, where skyscrapers, waterfront promenades, and the urban atmosphere create one of the city’s most characteristic panoramas.
Depending on the group’s interests and the pace of the tour, the guide may suggest an optional activity, such as taking the Yokohama cable car, which crosses the port area and offers wide views of Minato Mirai, or a ride on the large Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel, one of the city’s most recognizable icons.
Next, you will visit a museum dedicated to ramen, where you can learn about the history of this Japanese dish and see some of its specialties. The tour will continue through the former customs warehouses, now restored as cultural and leisure spaces, and may continue toward Yokohama Chukagai, the largest Chinatown in Japan, where you will stroll among temples, shops, and colorful façades. Please note that the visit to Chinatown will be subject to the schedule and pace of the tour.
During the day, you will take a break for lunch. If passengers prefer not to have lunch, a mandatory break will still be maintained so the guide can rest. After completing the scheduled visits, you will return with the guide to Tokyo, closing a day trip that will have combined modernity, gastronomy, port history, and cultural contrasts in one of the most interesting cities in the Japanese metropolitan area.
